The Fort Pleasant Pilot Project combines housing vouchers with Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) education and entrepreneurship training, equipping participants to build and own trucking businesses. This includes instruction in dispatching, contracting, and job creation, creating a comprehensive pathway from reentry to economic independence.
We’re grateful for our partnership with The Trade Core Corp on the Fort Pleasant Pilot Project, which equips justice-impacted individuals with housing, CDL education, and entrepreneurship training to build and own their own trucking businesses.
Join us for a fundraising event on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 in Springfield, MA to support this transformative initiative. Your support directly funds scholarships, training, and wraparound support services that create pathways from reentry to economic independence and business ownership.

Justice 4 Housing
Justice 4 Housing has developed an innovative and unmatched approach to reentry housing. We created the first housing voucher program in the Commonwealth specifically designed to support individuals returning to their communities after incarceration. We apply that same transformative approach to workforce development through Core Path Alliance; the first Trucking Business Ownership and CDL training program in the Commonwealth created by us, about us, and for us.
Trade Core
Trade Core advances education in business development through trucking trades, housing revitalization, and entrepreneurship. The organization helps create long-term economic mobility and pathways to business ownership while strengthening communities through workforce development, skilled trades training, and sustainable economic opportunities.
