Justice 4 Housing

Stabilization and Emergency Assistance (SEA) Program

Justice 4 Housing’s (J4H) Stabilization and Emergency Assistance (SEA) Program is a Joint Transitional Housing-Rapid Rehousing (Joint TH-RRH) program that, as a step toward permanent housing, provides single room occupancy (SRO) housing with no less than six months of wrap-around stabilization services, rental assistance and emergency accommodation support to justice-involved individuals (JIIs). JIIs are those who have had any involvement with the criminal justice system.

The SEA Program offers temporary housing in 12 single room occupancy (SRO) units at our Roxbury property, Kendric's House. Residents will have access to wrap-around stabilization services.

Clients can apply for rental assistance from the SEA Program to cover expenses like first-months rent, security deposits and moving costs.

Depending on funding availability, the SEA Program may be able to place clients in temporary emergency housing accommodations, like a hotel.
